Read moreDear ISFP members,
It is a great honour and responsibility for me to take over the ISFP Chairmanship and I would like first of all to pay tribute to the previous Honorary and Executive Presidents Roger Gosden, Jacques Donnez, and Sam Kim for all the efforts and energies that put into the creation and promotion of our society.
ISFP has grown during the last 6 years and now has 600 members from all around the world. It is really very stimulating to offer all of them new possibilities of education and scientific exchange and it is a pleasure to have ISFP guidelines already published in an indexed journal. The time has arrived to present strategies that undoubtedly will make ISFP very attractive and will make up for the modest annual fee that from this year on members will start to pay.
One of the major duties of the current ISFP Board will be to establish the first World Registry of Ovarian Tissue Banking, which will be a world bibliographic reference on this issue. Likewise we would like to create links with other organizations dealing with our common interest of fertility preservation. Policies of endorsing meetings will be proposed in order to increase ISFP visibility and awareness within the scientific community.
Faith is taking the first step, even when you don’t see the whole staircase.
